The FOXP1 foxp1 (Catalog #MBS476350) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-FOXP1 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FOXP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FOXP1 foxp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The FOXP1 foxp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #348605235) (NCBI Accession #NP_001231745.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9H334). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-FOXP1 Mouse mAb with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis using FOXP1 mAb against human FOXP1 recombinant protein. (Expected MW is 47.7 kDa))
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis using FOXP1 mouse mAb against HeLa (1), Jurkat (2), MCF-7 (3), T47D (4), and Raw264.7 (5) cell lysate.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells using FOXP1 mouse mAb (green) and negative control (red).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded breast cancer tissues using FOXP1 mouse mAb with DAB staining.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rectum cancer tissues using FOXP1 mouse mAb with DAB staining.)
Entrez Summary: This gene belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. Forkhead box transcription factors play important roles in the regulation of tissue- and cell type-specific gene transcription during both development and adulthood. Forkhead box P1 protein contains both DNA-binding- and protein-protein binding-domains. This gene may act as a tumor suppressor as it is lost in several tumor types and maps to a chromosomal region (3p14.1) reported to contain a tumor suppressor gene (s). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human FOXP1 (AA: 481-677) expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FOXP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FOXP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
