The GBA3 gba3 (Catalog #MBS533409) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s GBA3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).FC: 1:100
IHC: 1:150
WB: 1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GBA3 gba3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The GBA3 gba3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #13273313) (NCBI Accession #NP_066024) (Uniprot Accession #Q9H227). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (Western Blot analysis using GBA3 antibody
Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant GBA3 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with GBA3 antibody)
Mouse monoclonal GBA3 antibody.
Biological Significance: GBA3 is a predominantly liver enzyme that efficiently hydrolyzesbeta-D-glucoside and beta-D-galactoside, but not any known physiologic beta-glycoside, suggesting that it may beinvolved in detoxification of plant glycosides. GBA3 also has significant neutral glycosylceramidase activity, suggesting that it may be involved in a nonlysosomal catabolic pathway of glucosylceramide metabolism. Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: GBA3 antibody was raised in mouse using a human recombinant protein fragment corresponding to amino acids 1-150 and 370-469 of human GBA3 (NP_066024) produced in E Coli as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GBA3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GBA3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. GBA3 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCDC102A, GBA2. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Diseases, Death, Diabetes Mellitus, Eye Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Kidney Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to GBA3 antibody.
