|The HPSE hpse (Catalog #MBS213416) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s HEPARANASE-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Paraffin, Western Blot (WB).
Western Blot: This item detects bands of approximately 50kDa (corresponding to the subunit containing the active site) and 65kDa (the precursor of heparanase-1) when purified recombinant human heparanase samples are used.
Immunohistology - Paraffin: Minimum Dilution: 1/40
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1/4000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HPSE hpse for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The HPSE hpse product has the following accession number(s) (GI #148746204) (NCBI Accession #NP_001092010.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y251). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human Heparanase-1 antibody, clone HP3/17 is specific to Heparanase-1, also know as HPA1, an endo-beta-D-glucuronidase that degrades heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) in the extracellular matrix through cleavage of the heparan sulfate side chains. Heparanase-1 is a heterodimer that is produced as a 65kDa latent precursor, consisting of an 8kDa subunit, a 50kDa subunit and a linker peptide. Activation of Heparanase-1 occurs through cleavage of the linker peptide, releasing the 8kDa subunit from the active 50kDa subunit.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.01% Thiomersal
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G. Immunogen: Polypeptide from the 50 kDa subunit of heparanase
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing HPSE are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as HPSE may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. HPSE also interacts with the following gene(s): GPC3, HSPG2, SDC1. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Melanoma, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Neoplasm Metastasis are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN HEPARANASE-1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Kidney, Lung, Lymph Node, Nerve, Placenta, Stomach, Uterus, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
