|The IGF-1 Receptor igf1r (Catalog #MBS690920) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human IGF-1 Receptor reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IGF-1 Receptor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Neutr. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGF-1 Receptor igf1r for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IGF-1 Receptor igf1r product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4557665) (NCBI Accession #NP_000866.1) (Uniprot Accession #P08069). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

IGF-I receptor is a disulfide-linked heterotetrameric transmembrane protein consisting of two alpha and two beta subunits. Both the alpha and beta subunits are encoded within a single receptor precursor cDNA. The proreceptor polypeptide is proteolytically cleaved and disulfide-linked to yield the mature heterotetrameric receptor. The alpha subunit of IGF-I receptor is extracellular while the beta subunit has an extracellular domain, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. The IGF-I receptor is highly expressed in all cell types and tissues.
Antibody Generation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with human recombinant protein of IGF-I Receptor extracellular domain. Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGF-1 Receptor are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGF-1 Receptor may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Growth Disorders, Insulin-Like Growth Factor I, Resistance To, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti-Human IGF-1 Receptor. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. IGF-1 Receptor also interacts with the following gene(s): ESR1, GRB10, IGF1, IGF2, IRS1, IRS2, PIK3R1, PTPN11, SHC1. Eye, Lung, Ovary tissues are correlated with this protein.
