The IGF2BP3 igf2bp3 (Catalog #MBS476094) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-IGF2BP3 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IGF2BP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGF2BP3 igf2bp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The IGF2BP3 igf2bp3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #30795212) (NCBI Accession #NP_006538.2) (Uniprot Accession #O00425). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-IGF2BP3 Mouse mAb with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis using IGF2BP3 mouse mAb against Jurkat (1), K562 (2) and NTERA-2 (3) cell lysate.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded lung cancer (left) and colon tumour tissues (right) using IGC2BP3 mouse mAb with DAB staining.)
Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is primarily found in the nucleolus, where it can bind to the 5\' UTR of the insulin-like growth factor II leader 3 mRNA and may repress translation of insulin-like growth factor II during late development. The encoded protein contains several KH domains, which are important in RNA binding and are known to be involved in RNA synthesis and metabolism.Tissue specificity: Expressed in fetal liver, fetal lung, fetal kidney, fetal thymus, fetal placenta, fetal follicles of ovary and gonocytes of testis, growing oocytes, spermatogonia and semen (at protein level). Expressed in cervix adenocarcinoma, in testicular, pancreatic and renal-cell carcinomas (at protein level). Expressed ubiquitously during fetal development at 8 and 14 weeks of gestation. Expressed in ovary, testis, brain, placenta, pancreatic cancer tissues and pancreatic cancer cell lines.IMP-3 is a marker for carcinomas and high-grade dysplastic lesions of pancreatic ductal epithelium.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human IGF2BP3 expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGF2BP3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGF2BP3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
