The IGHD n/a (Catalog #MBS6007569) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IGHD, NT (IGHD, Ig delta chain C region) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IGHD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100~800. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGHD n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IGHD n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #495872) (NCBI Accession #AAA52771.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB) (IGHD Antibody (N-term)(Ascites) western blot analysis in CEM cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the IGHD antibody detected the IGHD protein (arrow).)
IgD is the major antigen receptor isotype on the surface of most peripheral B-cells, where it is coexpressed with IgM. The membrane-bound IgD (mIgD) induces the phosphorylation of CD79A and CD79B by the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases. Soluble IgD (sIgD) concentration in serum below those of IgG, IgA, and IgM but much higher than that of IgE. IgM and IgD molecules present on B cells have identical V regions and antigen-binding sites. After the antigen binds to the B-cell receptor, the secreted form sIgD is shut off. IgD is a potent inducer of TNF, IL1B, and IL1RN. IgD also induces release of IL6, IL10, and LIF from peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Monocytes seem to be the main producers of cytokines in vitro in the presence of IgD.
Immunogen: IGHD Mab is generated from mouses immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from human IGHD. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGHD are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGHD may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
