The IL13Ra1 il13ra1 (Catalog #MBS2544121) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti HumanIL13Ra1 Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IL13Ra1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA).ELISA: 0.1-0.2 mug/mL. This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2 mug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Human IL13RA1. The detection limit for Human IL13RA1 is approximately 0.0049 ng/well. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL13Ra1 il13ra1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IL13Ra1 il13ra1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #40254373). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Interleukin 13 receptor, alpha 1, also known as IL13RA1/IL-13RA1 and CD213A1 (cluster of differentiation 213A1), is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. This subunit forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, a subunit shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. IL13RA1/IL-13RA1 serves as a primary IL13-binding subunit of the IL13 receptor, and may also be a component of IL4 receptors. This protein has been shown to bind tyrosine kinase TYK2, and thus may mediate the signaling processes that lead to the activation of JAK1, STAT3 and STAT6 induced by IL13 and IL4. IL13RA1/IL-13RA1 binds with low affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13). This subunit together with IL4RA can form a functional receptor for IL13. IL13RA1/IL-13RA1 also serves as an alternate accessory protein to the common cytokine receptor gamma chain for interleukin-4 (IL4) signaling, but cannot replace the function of IL2RG in allowing enhanced interleukin-2 (IL2) binding activity.
Immunogen: Recombinant Human IL13RA1 protein
Buffer: 0.2 mum filtered solution in PBS with 5% trehalose. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL13Ra1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL13Ra1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. IL13Ra1 also interacts with the following gene(s): Il13, Il4ra, Jak1, Jak2, Jak3, Socs1, Tyk2.
