The IREM2 cd300e (Catalog #MBS832816) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s IREM2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).FC: <= 0.125 ug/test
A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IREM2 cd300e for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IREM2 cd300e product has the following accession number(s) (GI #30962595) (NCBI Accession #AAP42154.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q496F6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the IREM2 antibody (PE) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with CD85d antibody (ILT) (FITC) and Mouse IgG1 kappa Isotype Control (PE) (left) or CD30 antibody (IREM-) (PE) (right). Cells in the monocyte gate were used for analysis.)
Mouse monoclonal IREM2 antibody (PE).
Biological Significance: The monoclonal antibody UP-H2 recognizes human IREM-2 also known as LMIR6, and unofficially CD300E and CD300LE. It is a member of the CMRF-35 family. This 34 kDa Ig-like containing receptor is an activating receptor and through it?s charged residues in the cytokplasmic domain interacts with ITAM containing adaptor proteins like DAP12. Expression is found exclusively on monocytes and myeloid DC?s. Expression may be transient as differentiation of monocytes leads to down regulation of IREM-2 yet expression is found on mature DCs. It has been also noted that myeloid cell lines such as THP-1 and U937 do not express IREM-2.In vitro addition of UP-H2 antibody either soluble or crosslinked stimulates monocytes. Tag/Conjugate: PE. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IREM2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IREM2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein. Inflammation, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to IREM2 antibody (PE).
