The ITGB3 n/a (Catalog #MBS606138) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Integrin alphaV beta3 (CD51/CD61, RGD-dependent Vitronectin Receptor) (FITC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Integrin alphaV beta3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoassays.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITGB3 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ITGB3 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #47522830) (NCBI Accession #NP_999167.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

In cell matrix adhesions, clustered integrins (each made up of a noncovalently linked alpha and beta subunit) bind to endothelium cell matrix (ECM) components via their globular head domains. They connect to the actin cytoskeleton via adaptor proteins that bind their short cytoplasmic tails. Cell matrix adhesions also act as signalling units by their capacity to organize the actin cytoskeleton and to accumulate various signalling intermediates. Integrin mediated adhesion regulates the actions of Rho-GTPases, which in turn affect cell-cell adhesion. The converse process can also take place: the activity of Rho-GTPases can be modulated by cadherins in adherens junctions. Besides mediating adhesion to ECM components, integrins participate in the assembly of an ECM. Alpha-V/beta-3 integrin is a receptor for cytotactin, fibronectin, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin, vitronectin and von Willebrand factor.
Immunogen: human Integrin, alphaV, beta3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ITGB3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ITGB3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
