The JAM-C jam3 (Catalog #MBS224732) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RAT ANTI MOUSE JAM-C reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s JAM-C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JAM-C jam3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The JAM-C jam3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #12963613) (NCBI Accession #NP_075766.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RAT ANTI MOUSE JAM-C with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Staining of JAM-C transfected CHO cells with Rat anti Mouse JAM-C:FITC (MBS224678))
Testing Data #2 (Staining of JAM-C transfected CHO cells with Rat anti Mouse JAM-C (MBS224732) followed by Rabbit F(ab\')2 anti Rat IgG:FITC (MBS235146))
Testing Data #3 (Staining of JAM-C transfected CHO cells with Rat anti Mouse JAM-C:Biotin (MBS224659) followed by Streptavidin:FITC (MBS238412))
Clone CRAM-19 H36 recognises mouse and human Junctional adhesion molecule C (JAM-C), also known as JAM-3 and, historically, as JAM-2.JAM-C is expressed at junctions between endothelial and epithelial cells, as well as on leukocytes, platelets, vascular smooth muscle cells and fibroblasts, amongst other cell types. It plays a role in tight junctions and inflammatory processes and interacts with JAM-An and JAM-B.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Recombinant soluble JAM-C
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised Fischer rats were fused with cells of the Sp2/0 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing JAM-C are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as JAM-C may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
