|The KLK3 klk3 (Catalog #MBS570240) is an Antibody produced from Mouse (Balb/c) and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti PSA reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PSA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (frozen), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (paraffin), Western Blot (WB).
2B7 is suitable for immunocytochemistry, immuno-histochemistry on frozen and paraffin-embedded tissues, ELISA, Western blotting and flow cytometry. Optimal antibody dilution should be determined by titRation. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KLK3 klk3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The KLK3 klk3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502173) (NCBI Accession #NP_001639.1) (Uniprot Accession #P07288). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Prostate-specific antigen (PSA), also known as gamma-seminoprotein or kallikrein-3 (KLK3), is a 33 kDa glycoprotein encoded in Humans by the KLK3 gene. PSA is a member of the kallikrein-related peptidase family and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. PSA is present in small quantities in the Serum of men with healthy prostates, but is often elevated in the presence of prostate cancer or other prostate disorders.
Source Note: 2B7 is a Mouse monoclonal IgG1/k antibody derived by fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 Mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from a Mouse immunized with Human PSA. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing KLK3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as KLK3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. KLK3 also interacts with the following gene(s): ERBB2, IL6, TP53. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Disease Progression, Hyperplasia, Kidney Diseases, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Ovarian Neoplasms, Prostatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse anti PSA.
