The KRT7 krt7 (Catalog #MBS857928) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Keratin 7 (KRT7) Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Keratin 7 (KRT7) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KRT7 krt7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The KRT7 krt7 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #67782365) (NCBI Accession #NP_005547.3) (Uniprot Accession #P08729). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

UniPort Summary Function: Blocks interferon-dependent interphase and stimulates DNA synthesis in cells. Involved in the translational regulation of the human papillomavirus type 16 E7 mRNA (HPV16 E7).
Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. This type II cytokeratin is specifically expressed in the simple epithelia ining the cavities of the internal organs and in the gland ducts and blood vessels. The genes encoding the type II cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 12q12-q13. Alternative splicing may result in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant human Keratin 7 protein fragments expressed in E Coli.
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasm. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing KRT7 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as KRT7 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Renal Cell, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Keratin 7 (KRT7) Antibody.
