The LIN28 lin28a (Catalog #MBS475856) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-LIN28 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s LIN28 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LIN28 lin28a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The LIN28 lin28a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #20306208) (NCBI Accession #AAH28566.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: LIN28: lin-28 homolog (C. elegans), also known as CSDD1, ZCCHC1. Entrez Protein NP_078950. LIN28 was first discovered in the nematode C. elegans. It is a heterochronic protein in C. elegans involved in the timing of developmental events and choice of stage specific cell fates. LIN28 expression has been found to be regulated post-transcriptionally by miRNAs in both nematodes and mammals. In humans it is expressed in embryonic stem cells and its expression decreases during differentiation. It is negatively regulated by retinoic acid in neuronal differentiation.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of LIN28 (aa93-209) expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LIN28 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LIN28 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Congenital Abnormalities, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperinsulinism, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Neurobehavioral Manifestations, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-LIN28 Mouse mAb. Embryonic Tissue, Ovary, Placenta, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
