|The LOC396098 n/a (Catalog #MBS603142) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Bu-1b (FITC) reacts with Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Bu-1b can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow cytometry 1,, Immunoprecipitation 1,, Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections)
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1ug/10e6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LOC396098 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LOC396098 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #46048756) (NCBI Accession #NP_990513.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Chicken Bu-1b, a product of the Bu-1b allele, is expressed on the cell surface as a disulfide-linked homodimer. In 10-week-old H.B15 and H.B2 chickens, Bu-1 is found on 85-90% of bursal cells, 2-8% of thymocytes, 15-27% of spleen cells, and 2-18% of peripheral blood cells. It is also expressed on subsets of macrophages and monocytes, but not on granulocytes, erythrocytes or thrombocytes. In chickens heterozygous for the Bu-1 alleles (Bu-1a/b), Bu-1a does not exhibit allelic exclusion.
Immunogen: Bursal cells from 2- to 5-week-old CHA (Bu-1b) strain chickens. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LOC396098 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LOC396098 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
