|The LSP1 lsp1 (Catalog #MBS283631) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti-human Lymphocyte Specific Protein 1 (LSP1) monoclonal antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Lymphocyte Specific Protein 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot Analysis (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LSP1 lsp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LSP1 lsp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #2827372) (NCBI Accession #AAB99825.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Lymphocyte-specific protein 1 is an intracellular F-actin binding protein. The protein is expressed in lymphocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, and endothelium and may regulate neutrophil motility, adhesion to fibrinogen matrix proteins, and transendothelial migration. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. May et al. (1993) and others used various cDNA cloning strategies to identify genes preferentially expressed in B lymphocytes. One gene, variously named LSP1 and pp52, exhibited a number of properties supporting a possible role in B-cell signaling pathways. The gene codes for a 52-kD phosphoprotein expressed only in transformed and untransformed B cells, thymocytes, and untransformed T-cell lines.

Available antibodies recognizing LSP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LSP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse anti-human Lymphocyte Specific Protein 1 (LSP1) monoclonal antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. LSP1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CA2, KSR1, MAPKAPK2, TOX3. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Connective Tissue, Ganglia, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle tissues are correlated with this protein.
