The MAP3K12 map3k12 (Catalog #MBS645852) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAP3K12 (MAP3K12, ZPK, Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 12, Dual leucine zipper bearing kinase, Leucine-zipper protein kinase, MAPK-upstream kinase, Mixed lineage kinase) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MAP3K12 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: 1:100-1:250
Optimal dilutions to be determiend by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP3K12 map3k12 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MAP3K12 map3k12 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #29476775) (NCBI Accession #AAH50050.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q12852). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MAP3K12 (MAP3K12, ZPK, Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 12, Dual leucine zipper bearing kinase, Leucine-zipper protein kinase, MAPK-upstream kinase, Mixed lineage kinase) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis in T47D cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS645852. This demonstrates MBS645852 detected the MAP3K12 protein (arrow).)
This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase contains a leucine-zipper domain and is predominately expressed in neuronal cells. The phosphorylation state of this kinase in synaptic terminals was shown to be regulated by membrane depolarization via calcineurin. This kinase forms heterodimers with leucine zipper containing transcription factors, such as cAMP responsive element binding protein (CREB) and MYC, and thus may play a regulatory role in PKA or retinoic acid induced neuronal differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different proteins have been described.[provided by RefSeq].
Immunogen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residue within amino acids 828-859 of human MAP3K12. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MAP3K12 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MAP3K12 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
