The MAP3K2 map3k2 (Catalog #MBS476218) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MAP3K2 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MAP3K2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP3K2 map3k2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The MAP3K2 map3k2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #41388990) (NCBI Accession #AAH65755.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase preferentially activates other kinases involved in the MAP kinase signaling pathway. This kinase has been shown to directly phosphorylate and activate Ikappa B kinases, and thus plays a role in NF-kappa B signaling pathway. This kinase has also been found to bind and activate protein kinase C-related kinase 2, which suggests its involvement in a regulated signaling process.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human MAP3K2 expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MAP3K2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MAP3K2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. MAP3K2 also interacts with the following gene(s): MAP2K5, MAP2K7, PRKCA, SH2D2A, SRC. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-MAP3K2 Mouse mAb.
