The MD-1 ly86 (Catalog #MBS584120) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MD-1, Mouse, mAb MD113 reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MD-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FS.Application Notes: The monoclonal antibody MD113 can be used for flow cytometry and functional studies. The monoclonal antibody cannot be used for Western blot and immunoprecipitation.
Application Use: For flow cytometry, dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:50. Before use in biological assays, the product must be filter sterilized and depending on the concentration to be used dialyzed against culture medium to remove the sodium azide added. Please inquire for availability of azide free solutions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MD-1 ly86 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MD-1 ly86 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4321098) (NCBI Accession #AAC98152.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Product Description: The monoclonal antibody MD113 reacts with mouse MD-1. MD-1 (22-25 kD) is an extracellular protein associated with the extracellular domain of RP105. The latter is a type 1 transmembrane protein with leucine-rich repeats. RP105 is similar to Drosophila Toll. MD-1 associated with RP105 (similar to TLR4/MD-2) appears to be an essential molecule that helps RP105 on B-cells to signal to LPS. The MD113 antibody is antagonistic in LPS-induced B-cell proliferation and B7.2 up-regulation.
In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MD-1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MD-1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. MD-1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD14, CD180, LY96, TLR4. Disease Models, Animal, Fatty Liver, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Poisoning, Respiratory Tract Diseases, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to MD-1, Mouse, mAb MD113.
