The MGLL mgll (Catalog #MBS833353) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s MGLL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).FC: 1:100
IF: 1:100
IHC: 1:150
WB: 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MGLL mgll for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MGLL mgll product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6005786) (NCBI Accession #NP_009214) (Uniprot Accession #Q99685). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MGLL antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow Cytometric analysis of HEK293T cells transfected with either recombinant MGLL protein (red) or empty vector (blue) stained using MGLL antibody)
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant MGLL protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with MGLL antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of MGLL protein in paraffin embedded Adenocarcinoma of Human colon tissue using MGLL antibody)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected with recombinant MGLL protein using MGLL antibody)
Mouse monoclonal MGLL antibody.
Biological Significance: Monoglyceride lipase functions together with hormone-sensitive lipase to hydrolyze intracellular triglyceride stores in adipocytes and other cells to fatty acids and glycerol. MGLL may also complement lipoprotein lipase in completing hydrolysis of monoglycerides resulting from degradation of lipoprotein triglycerides. Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: MGLL antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human MGLL (NP_009214) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MGLL are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MGLL may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Intestine, Liver, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. MGLL also interacts with the following gene(s): LIPE, LPL, PNPLA2. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Death, Disease Models, Animal, Fatty Liver, Inflammation, Insulin Resistance, Liver Diseases, Weight Gain, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to MGLL antibody.
