The MHC Class 2, I-Ad n/a (Catalog #MBS643257) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MHC Class 2, I-Ad (H-2 Class II Histocompatibility Antigen, I-A beta Chain, H2-Eb1) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MHC Class 2, I-Ad can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHC Class 2, I-Ad n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MHC Class 2, I-Ad (H-2 Class II Histocompatibility Antigen, I-A beta Chain, H2-Eb1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (BALB/c mouse splenocytes stained with I-Ad FITC.)
Testing Data (C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes stained with I-Ad FITC.)
This antibody reacts with the I-Ad MHC class II alloantigen. These class II molecules are expressed on antigen presenting cells (including B cells) and a subset of T cells from H-2d bearing mice and are involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD4 proteins. This antibody does not cross-react with other haplotypes (a, b, k, p, q, s), but has been demonstrated to cross-react with the g7 haplotype.
Immunogen: (C3H x BALB/c)F1 mouse cells. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MHC Class 2, I-Ad are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MHC Class 2, I-Ad may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
