Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MPS1 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunofluorescence (Immunofluorescent staining using
Confocal immunofluorescence analysis of Hela cells (A), BCBL-1 cells (B) and L1210 cells (C) using MPS1 antibody (green). Blue: DRAQ5 fluorescent DNA dye.)
Mouse monoclonal MPS1 antibody.
Biological Significance: MPS1 belongs to the S27E family of ribosomal proteins. It contains a C4-type zinc finger domain that can bind to zinc and has been shown to be able to bind to nucleic acid. It is located in the cytoplasm as a ribosomal component, but it has also been detected in the nucleus. MPS1 is expressed in a wide variety of actively proliferating cells and tumor tissues. Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: MPS1 antibody was raised in Mouse using a purified recombinant fragment of MPS1 expressed in E Coli as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MPS1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MPS1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
