The MuRF1 mme (Catalog #MBS476760) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MuRF1 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MuRF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MuRF1 mme for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The MuRF1 mme product has the following accession number(s) (GI #213492207) (NCBI Accession #ACJ47212.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: This gene encodes a member of the RING zinc finger protein family found in striated muscle and iris. The product of this gene is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that localizes to the Z-line and M-line lattices of myofibrils. This protein plays an important role in the atrophy of skeletal and cardiac muscle and is required for the degradation of myosin heavy chain proteins, myosin light chain, myosin binding protein, and for muscle-type creatine kinase.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of CD10 expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MuRF1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MuRF1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Disease Models, Animal, Edema, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Pain, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-MuRF1 Mouse mAb. MuRF1 also interacts with the following gene(s): ACE2, AGT, ANPEP, APP, ATP6AP2, REN, TAC1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Brain, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein.
