The MYO1C myo1c (Catalog #MBS6008539) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MYO1C (MYO1C, Unconventional myosin-Ic, Myosin I beta) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MYO1C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 1:100~500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MYO1C myo1c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MYO1C myo1c product has the following accession number(s) (GI #94466376) (NCBI Accession #AAH44891.2) (Uniprot Accession #O00159). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MYO1C (MYO1C, Unconventional myosin-Ic, Myosin I beta) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (MYO1C western blot analysis in MDA-MB435 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the MYO1C antibody detected the MYO1C protein (arrow).)
This gene encodes a member of the unconventional myosin protein family, which are actin-based molecular motors. The protein is found in the cytoplasm, and one isoform with an unique N-terminus is also found in the nucleus. The nuclear isoform associates with RNA polymerase I and II and functions in transcription initiation. The mouse ortholog of this protein also functions in intracellular vesicle transport to the plasma membrane. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The related gene myosin IE has been referred to as myosin IC in the literature, but it is a distinct locus on chromosome 19. [provided by RefSeq].
Immunogen: MYO1C Mab is generated from mouse immunized with MYO1C recombinant protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MYO1C are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MYO1C may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. MYO1C also interacts with the following gene(s): MYO1A, MYO1F, MYO9B.
