The NR1H2 nr1h2 (Catalog #MBS2542212) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NR1H2 Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NR1H2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).WB: 1:500-1:5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NR1H2 nr1h2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NR1H2 nr1h2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #375331888) (NCBI Accession #NP_001243576.1) (Uniprot Accession #P55055). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of Human liver tissue using NR1H2 Monoclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:1000)
The liver X receptors, LXRA (NR1H3; MIM 602423) and LXRB, form a subfamily of the nuclear receptor superfamily and are key regulators of macrophage function, controlling transcriptional programs involved in lipid homeostasis and inflammation. The inducible LXRA is highly expressed in liver, adrenal gland, intestine, adipose tissue, macrophages, lung, and kidney, whereas LXRB is ubiquitously expressed. Ligand-activated LXRs form obligate heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs; see MIM 180245) and regulate expression of target genes containing LXR response elements. NR1H2 (Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 1 Group H Member 2) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with NR1H2 include Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome and Thyroid Hormone Resistance. Among its related pathways are Sterol Regulatory Element-Binding Proteins (SREBP) signalling and Lipoprotein metabolism. GO annotations related to this gene include transcription factor activity, sequence-specific DNA binding and RNA polymerase II core promoter proximal region sequence-specific DNA binding. An important paralog of this gene is NR1H3.
Immunogen: Fusion protein of NR1H2. Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, PH7.3
Conjugation: Unconjugated. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NR1H2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NR1H2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
