The PDGFRA pdgfra (Catalog #MBS476798) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PDGFRA Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PDGFRA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDGFRA pdgfra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The PDGFRA pdgfra product has the following accession number(s) (GI #1115538446) (NCBI Accession #NP_001334758.1) (Uniprot Accession #P16234). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides. Studies suggest that this gene plays a role in organ development, wound healing, and tumor progression. Mutations in this gene have been associated with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome, somatic and familial gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and a variety of other cancers.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of protein IGFBP2 (aa180-328) expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PDGFRA are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PDGFRA may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Intestine, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Stomach, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors, Heart Diseases, Hypereosinophilic Syndrome, Hyperplasia, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-PDGFRA Mouse mAb. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. PDGFRA also interacts with the following gene(s): CAV1, CRK, GRB2, PDGFA, PDGFB, PDGFC, PDGFRB, PIK3R1, PLCG1.
