The PDGFRbeta pdgfrb (Catalog #MBS490074) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s PDGFRbeta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Neutralization Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDGFRbeta pdgfrb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The PDGFRbeta pdgfrb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4505683) (NCBI Accession #NP_002600.1) (Uniprot Accession #P09619). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

PDGF, a ligand of PDGFR, has 4 isofoms, A-, B-, C- and D-chains, and forms hetero and/or homo dimers, PDGF-AA, -AB, -BB, -CC, -DD. On the other hand, PDGFR has 2 isoforms, alpha- and beta-chains and forms hetero and/or homo dimers, PDGFR-alphaalpha, -alphabeta and -betabeta. PDGF-An and PDGF-C binds specifically to PDGFR-alpha, PDGF-B binds to PDGFR-alpha and PDGFR-beta, and PDGF-D binds specifically to PDGFR-beta. In other words, PDGF-AA and PDGF-CC can activate only PDGF-alphaalpha, while PDGF-AB can activate PDGFR-alphaalpha and PDGFR-alphabeta, and PDGF-BB can activate PDGFR-alphaalpha, -alphabeta and -betabeta. While, PDGF-DD has been reported to be able to activate PDGFR-alphabeta as well as PDGFR -betabeta. When the receptor is dimerized, tyrosine kinase activity in the intracellular region increases and auto-phosphorylation of the tyrosine residue takes place. This monoclonal antibody recognizes PDGFRbetaby W.B. and I.P. applications and it enables FACS analysis of PDGFRbeta-expressing cells. It has been confirmed that the addition of this antibody does not induce ligand-binding-dependent phosphorylation of PDGFRbetaand it may be used as a neutralizing antibody.

PDGFRbeta pdgfrb

Immunogen: Recombinant protein of extracellular domain of human PDGFRbeta. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PDGFRbeta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PDGFRbeta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. PDGFRbeta also interacts with the following gene(s): EGFR, GRB2, JAK2, PDGFB, PDGFD, PDGFRA, PTPN11, SRC, STAT1, STAT3. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Fibrosis, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to PDGFRbeta (22B1) Anti-Human Mouse IgG MoAb.
