|The PIK3AP1 spata2l (Catalog #MBS832087) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PIK3AP1 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PIK3AP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).
WB: 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PIK3AP1 spata2l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PIK3AP1 spata2l product has the following accession number(s) (GI #31377585) (NCBI Accession #NP_689552) (Uniprot Accession #Q8IUW3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the PIK3AP1 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant PIK3AP1 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with PIK3AP1 antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of PIK3AP1 protein in paraffin embedded Human lymph node tissue using PIK3AP1 antibody)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected with recombinant PIK3AP1 protein using PIK3AP1 antibody)
Mouse monoclonal PIK3AP1 antibody.
Biological Significance: PIK3AP1 is involved in the activation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) in B-cells and in natural killer (NK) cells. It couples B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) to PI3K activation by providing a docking site for the PI3K subunit PIK3R1, which contributes to B-cell development. It seems to have a complementary role with CD19 in PI3K activation. May be involved in the survival of mature B cells via activation of REL. Immunogen: PIK3AP1 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human PIK3AP1 (NP_689552) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PIK3AP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PIK3AP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
