The POLR2J2 polr2j2 (Catalog #MBS832295) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s POLR2J2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB).FC: 1:100
WB: 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the POLR2J2 polr2j2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The POLR2J2 polr2j2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #62739171) (NCBI Accession #NP_116581) (Uniprot Accession #Q9GZM3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the POLR2J2 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow Cytometric analysis of Hela cells using POLR2J2 antibody (Red), compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).)
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant POLR2J2 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with POLR2J2 antibody)
Mouse monoclonal POLR2J2 antibody.
Biological Significance: POLR2J2 is a member of the RNA polymerase II subunit 11 gene family, which includes three genes in a cluster on chromosome 7q22. 1 and a pseudogene on chromosome 7p13. The founding member of this family, DNA directed RNA polymeraseII polypeptide J, has been shown to encode a subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizingmessenger RNA in eukaryotes. This locus produces multiple, alternatively spliced transcripts that potentially expressisoforms with distinct C-termini compared to DNA directed RNA polymerase II polypeptide J. Most or all variants arespliced to include additional non-coding exons at the 3\' end which makes them candidates for nonsense-mediated decay(NMD). Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: POLR2J2 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human POLR2J2 (NP_116581) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing POLR2J2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as POLR2J2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
