The PPARGC1B ppargc1b (Catalog #MBS476579) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PPARGC1B Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PPARGC1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPARGC1B ppargc1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The PPARGC1B ppargc1b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #289577092) (NCBI Accession #NP_001166170.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q86YN6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells using PPARGC1B mouse mAb (green) and negative control (red).)
Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene stimulates the activity of several transcription factors and nuclear receptors, including estrogen receptor alpha, nuclear respiratory factor 1, and glucocorticoid receptor. The encoded protein may be involved in fat oxidation, non-oxidative glucose metabolism, and the regulation of energy expenditure. This protein is downregulated in prediabetic and type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Certain allelic variations in this gene increase the risk of the development of obesity. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human PPARGC1B (AA: 195-414) expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PPARGC1B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PPARGC1B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Fatty Liver, Heart Failure, Inflammation, Insulin Resistance, Kidney Diseases, Neoplasms, Obesity are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-PPARGC1B Mouse mAb.
