The PRDX3 prdx3 (Catalog #MBS200406) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Peroxiredoxin3 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Peroxiredoxin3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PRDX3 prdx3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The PRDX3 prdx3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #5802974) (NCBI Accession #NP_006784) (Uniprot Accession #P30048). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Peroxiredoxin3 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (The recombinant human PRDX3 protein (50ng) and Cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human Peroxiredoxin3 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Peroxiredoxin 3, also known as PRDX3, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. Peroxiredoxin 3 is specifically localized in mitochondria and believed to play important roles in the regulation of cellular redox status by serving as a primary line of defense against H2O2 produced during respiration.
Antigen Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant human Peroxiredoxin3 (63-256aa) purified from E. coli. Clone Note: Anti-human Peroxiredoxin3 mAb, clone AT1F8, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human PRDX3 protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PRDX3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PRDX3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
