|The PTK7 ptk7 (Catalog #MBS632181) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PTK7 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase 7, Colon Carcinoma Kinase 4, CCK-4, Tyrosine-protein Kinase-like 7, CCK4) (Azide Free) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PTK7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF).
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml-3ng/ml
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTK7 ptk7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PTK7 ptk7 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #119624565) (NCBI Accession #EAX04160.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q13308). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Receptor protein tyrosine kinases transduce extracellular signals across the cell membrane. A subgroup of these kinases lack detectable catalytic tyrosine kinase activity but retain roles in signal transduction. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of this subgroup of tyrosine kinases and may function as a cell adhesion molecule. This gene is thought to be expressed in colon carcinomas but not in normal colon, and therefore may be a marker for or may be involved in tumor progression. Four transcript variants encoding four different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq].
Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa36-146 of human PTK7. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PTK7 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PTK7 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Pancreas, Stomach, Thymus, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Abnormalities, Drug-Induced, Abnormalities, Multiple, Adenocarcinoma, Bone Marrow Diseases, Brain Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Neoplasm Metastasis, Nervous System Diseases, Neural Tube Defects, Syndrome are some of the diseases may be linked to PTK7 (Protein Tyrosine Kinase 7, Colon Carcinoma Kinase 4, CCK-4, Tyrosine-protein Kinase-like 7, CCK4) (Azide Free).
