The SIRP n/a (Catalog #MBS520431) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Rat SIRP Purified (Clone OX-41) (mouse IgG2a) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s SIRP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunofluorescence (IF). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SIRP n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. To buy or view more detailed product information and pricing, please click on the technical datasheet page below:

Testing Data
MBS520431 (MRC OX-41) monoclonal antibody recognizes rat SIRP (Signal- Regulatory Protein), a surface protein of about 110 kDa. SIRP is selectively expressed by myeloid cells (macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells) and neurons. The SIRP antigen is a transmembrane glycoprotein with 3 immunoglobulin-like extracellular domains: an N-terminal V-set domain and two C1-set domains. The SIRP Ig domains are closely related to those of the antigen receptors, Ig, TCR and MHC. The selective expression of this antigen by myeloid and neuronal cells suggests that SIRP is involved in the modulation of myeloid and neuronal cell function. This clone can be used in FACS analysis, immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, and indirect radioimmunoassays.

Fusion Partner: NSO/U. Presentation: 250 ug or 500ug purified Ig buffered in PBS and 0.02% NaN3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SIRP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SIRP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
