The SMARCA5 smarca5 (Catalog #MBS6008832) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HSNF2H (SWI/SNF-related Matrix-associated Actin-dependent Regulator of Chromatin Subfamily A Member 5, SWI/SNF-related Matrix-associated Actin-dependent Regulator of Chromatin A5, Sucrose Nonfermenting Protein 2 Homolog, SMARCA5, SNF2H, WCRF135) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HSNF2H can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC).Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml
Immunocytochemistry: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SMARCA5 smarca5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The SMARCA5 smarca5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #2967452) (NCBI Accession #BAA25173.1) (Uniprot Accession #O60264). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the HSNF2H (SWI/SNF-related Matrix-associated Actin-dependent Regulator of Chromatin Subfamily A Member 5, SWI/SNF-related Matrix-associated Actin-dependent Regulator of Chromatin A5, Sucrose Nonfermenting Protein 2 Homolog, SMARCA5, SNF2H, WCRF135) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunocytochemistry (ICC) (Immunocytochemistry Analysis: |Representative lot data. Confocal fluorescent analysis of HeLa and A431 cells using hSNF2H (Red). Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor® 488 dye-Phalloidin (Green). Nucleus is stained with DAPI (Blue). This antibody positively stains the nucleus.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blotting analysis: |Representative lot data. |HeLa cell lysate was probed with hSNF2H (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a Goat Mouse IgG secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and visualized using a chemiluminescence detection system.|Arrow indicates hSNF2H (~130kD).)
The HSNF2H protein, a product of the SMARCA5 gene, is a member of the Imitation Switch (ISWI) family. This chromatin remodeling protein has ATP-dependent helicase activity and is implicated in the regulation of replication-associated nucleosome assembly as well as global chromatin structure. The HSNF2H protein has also been implicated in the transcriptional regulation of some genes. For example, studies suggest that HSNF2H is associated with activation and inactivation of cytokine genes and potentially the propagation and aggressiveness of some types of cancer.
Immunogen: Recombinant corresponding to human HSNF2H fused to GST-tag. Positive Control: HeLa cell lysate. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SMARCA5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SMARCA5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
