The SNCB sncb (Catalog #MBS606587) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Synuclein-beta (Phosphoneuroprotein 14, PNP14, SYN) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Synuclein-beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml
Western Blot: 2ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry: 25ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SNCB sncb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The SNCB sncb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #30582093) (Uniprot Accession #Q16143). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Synuclein-beta (Phosphoneuroprotein 14, PNP14, SYN) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot of human hippocampal tissue lysates using MBS606587 (2ug/ml), followed by IgG (HRP) anti-mouse. A specific band was detected for Synuclein-beta at ~20kD (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.)
Synuclein-beta is a 19kD, 134aa cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that is a member of a family of small, highly conserved proteins, including synucleins alpha, beta, and gamma (synoretin), localized predominantly in presynaptic nerve terminals in the brain. Synuclein-beta associates with Synuclein-alpha, preventing it from aggregating. Abnormal Synuclein-alpha aggregates form filamentous inclusions (Lewy bodies) in neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson\'s disease. Within the region used as an immunogen, human SNCB shares 99% aa identity with mouse and rat Synuclein-beta.
Immunogen: Recombinant human Synuclein-beta aa47-120; Q16143 (E. coli). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SNCB are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SNCB may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain, Eye, Nerve tissues are correlated with this protein. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Drug Toxicity, Fibrosis, Genetic Diseases, Inborn, Gonadal Disorders, Kidney Diseases, Lewy Body Disease, Neoplasms, Neurodegenerative Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Synuclein-beta (Phosphoneuroprotein 14, PNP14, SYN). SNCB also interacts with the following gene(s): APP, SNCA.
