The STK17B stk17b (Catalog #MBS600004) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DRAK2, CT (DAP Kinase-related Apoptosis-inducing Protein Kinase 2) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DRAK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.,
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:200
Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunoprecipitation: 1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STK17B stk17b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The STK17B stk17b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #3834356) (Uniprot Accession #O94768). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DRAK2, CT (DAP Kinase-related Apoptosis-inducing Protein Kinase 2) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of total cell lysates from BaF3 and mouse thymocytes, using MBS600004 DRAK2.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse thymus, using MBS600004.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow cytometric analysis of BaF3 cells, using MBS600004 DRAK2 (blue) compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (red).)
DRAK2 (DAP kinase related apoptosis inducing protein kinase 2) is a member of the novel DAP (death associated protein) pro-apoptotic kinase family (1). Overexpression of DRAK2 in NIH/3T3 cells induces morphological changes associated with apoptosis, which are likely to occur in a p53-dependent manner (1,2). DRAK2 is preferentially expressed in lymphoid tissues and regulates the TCR activation threshold during thymocyte selection (3). Indeed, T cells from DRAK2(-/-) mice exhibit enhanced sensitivity to T cell receptor-mediated stimulation and have a reduced requirement for co-stimulation (4). Specificity/Sensitivity: DRAK2 (33D7) Rabbit mAb detects endogenous levels of total DRAK2 protein. Source/Purification: Monoclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (KLH-coupled) corresponding to residues surrounding Asp315 of mouse DRAK2.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide (KLH-coupled) corresponding to residues surrounding Asp315 of mouse DRAK2. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing STK17B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as STK17B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
