MONOTOPE purified preparations consist of >90% pure mouse monoclonal antibody which has been purified from ascites fluid or culture medium by protein A chromatography or sequential differential precipitations. The final preparation is formulated to a protein concentration of 100 ug/ml in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2 and contains 0.1% sodium azide. Each vial contains 1.0 ml. This product contains no stabilizing proteins and should be stored at -20 degree C until ready for use. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing by storing multiple aliquots at -20 degree C. Working dilution must be determined by the user. Suggested starting ranges are 1:10-1:50 for IFA, blotting & IHC and 1:20-1:200 for ELISA. Custom conjugation of this antibody with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, biotin and fluorescein is available on a minimum order basis
0431 immunoprecipitates purified group A carbohydrate from both hot HCl & nitrous acid extracts. Works well HRP & gold conjugated. Ig Subclass Note: Reactive with the Strep. pneumoniae common C-polysaccharide (phosphorylcholine epitope). ELISA & IFA. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Strep pneumoniae are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Strep pneumoniae may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
