The TBCB n/a (Catalog #MBS5310694) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TBCB antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TBCB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Recommend Dilution: 1:1500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TBCB n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Tubulin folding cofactor B, also known as TBCB, belongs to the Microtubules family. Biosynthesis of functional microtubules involve the participation of several chaperones, termed Tubulin folding cofactors A (TBCA), B (TBCB), D (TBCD), E (TBCE) and C (TBCC), that act on folding intermediates downstream of the cytosolic chaperon, alternatively named TCP. TBCB is a 244 amino acid cytoplasmic protein containing one CAP-Gly domain and in widely expressed. TBCB is involved in the regulation of tubulin heterodimer dissociation and may function as a negative regulator of axonal growth.
Source Note: TBCB antibody is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human TBCB protein.
Immunogen: TBCB antibody was raised in mouse using recombinant human TBCB (1-244aa) purified from E Coli as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TBCB are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TBCB may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
