The TCR n/a (Catalog #MBS833787) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s TCR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).
FC: <= 0.06 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCR n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The TCR n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #339419) (NCBI Accession #AAA61127.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the TCR antibody (allophycocyanin) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (Flow Cytometric analysis using TCR antibody
Staining of the DO11.10 T cell hybridoma with 0.125 ug of Mouse IgG2a kappa Isotype Control (open histogram) or 0.125 ug of DO11.10 TCR antibody (filled histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.)
Flow Cytometry TCR.

Mouse monoclonal TCR antibody (allophycocyanin).

Biological Significance: The KJ1-26 anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody binds the T-cell receptor expressed on DO11.10 and DO11.10.24 murine T cell hybridomas, but not on any other T cell hybridomas tested. The TCR expressedon DO11.10 recognizes an ovalbumin peptide in the context of I-A majorhistocompatibility molecules. The use of DO11.10 and KJ1-26 have proven tobe instrumental in describing many of the intricate details of T cellimmunity. Tag/Conjugate: Allophycocyanin. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TCR are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TCR may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
