The TCR, gamma, delta n/a (Catalog #MBS609587) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TCR, gamma, delta (T Cell Receptor) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TCR, gamma, delta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen), and Immunoprecipitation.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:5-1:50; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCR, gamma, delta n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TCR, gamma, delta n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4454233) (NCBI Accession #CAA10784.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha and a beta chain (TCR a/b) or a g and a d chain (TCR g/d). TCR g/d belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, which is involved in the recognition of certain bacterial and tumor antigens bound to MHC class I. g/d TCR associates with CD3 and is expressed on a T cell subset found in the thymus, the intestinal epithelium, and the peripheral lymphoid tissues and peritoneum. Most g/d T cells are CD4-/CD8- although some are CD8+. T cells expressing the g/d TCR have been shown to play a role in oral tolerance, tumor-associated tolerance, and autoimmune disease. It has been reported that g/d T cells also play a principal role in antigen presentation.
Immunogen: C57BL/6J intra epithelial lymphocytes. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Armenian hamster. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TCR, gamma, delta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TCR, gamma, delta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
