|The TIE1 tie1 (Catalog #MBS476706) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TIE1 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TIE1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TIE1 tie1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TIE1 tie1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #520946) (NCBI Accession #CAA56739.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: This gene encodes a member of the tyrosine protein kinase family. The encoded protein plays a critical role in angiogenesis and blood vessel stability by inhibiting angiopoietin 1 signaling through the endothelial receptor tyrosine kinase Tie2. Ectodomain cleavage of the encoded protein relieves inhibition of Tie2 and is mediated by multiple factors including vascular endothelial growth factor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human AFP expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TIE1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TIE1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Edema, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-TIE1 Mouse mAb. TIE1 also interacts with the following gene(s): Angpt1, Angpt2, Angpt4, Cdh5, Pdgfb, Vegfa. Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Joint, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein.
