The TLR2 tlr2 (Catalog #MBS832402) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s Toll-like receptor 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).FC: <= 0.125 ug/test
A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLR2 tlr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TLR2 tlr2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #27806379) (NCBI Accession #NP_776622.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q95LA9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Toll-like receptor 2 antibody (PE) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Staining of C57BL/6 splenocytes with CD11b antibody (FITC) and 0.125 ug of Mouse IgG2a kappa Isotype Control (PE) (left) or 0.125 ug of CD282 antibody (PE) (right). Total viable cells were used for analysis.)
Mouse monoclonal Toll-like receptor 2 antibody (PE).
Biological Significance: The mT2.7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Toll-like receptor 2. Mouse TLR2 is expressed by the myeloid lineage, including macrophage and dendritic cells in splenocytes and the RAW264.7 cell line. To date, at least twelve members of the Toll family have been identified in human and mouse. This family of type I transmembrane protein is characterized by an extracellular domain with leucine-rich repeats and a cytoplasmic domain with homology to the type I IL-1 receptor. Two of these receptors, TLR2 and TLR4, are pattern recognition receptors and signaling molecules in response to bacterial lipoproteins and have been implicated in innate immunity and inflammation. TLR2 is expressed on the surface of cells and is responsible for distinguishing different pathogens. Tag/Conjugate: PE. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TLR2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TLR2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. TLR2 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD14, CD36, IRAK4, MYD88, NFKB1, NOD2, TIRAP, TLR6, TOLLIP, TRAF6. Atherosclerosis, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Tract Diseases, Staphylococcal Infections are some of the diseases may be linked to Toll-like receptor 2 antibody (PE). Intestine, Liver, Muscle tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
