The TNFRSF11B tnfrsf11b (Catalog #MBS476090) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-TNFRSF11B Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TNFRSF11B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFRSF11B tnfrsf11b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The TNFRSF11B tnfrsf11b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #148743793) (NCBI Accession #NP_002537.3) (Uniprot Accession #O00300). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This protein is an osteoblast-secreted decoy receptor that functions as a negative regulator of bone resorption. This protein specifically binds to its ligand, osteoprotegerin ligand, both of which are key extracellular regulators of osteoclast development. Studies of the mouse counterpart also suggest that this protein and its ligand play a role in lymph-node organogenesis and vascular calcification. Alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been reported, but their full length nature has not been determined.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human TNFRSF11B expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TNFRSF11B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TNFRSF11B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. TNFRSF11B also interacts with the following gene(s): THBS1, TNFSF10, TNFSF11, TNFSF13, VTN, VWF. Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Connective Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Mouth, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
