The TREM-2 trem2 (Catalog #MBS224763) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s TREM-2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TREM-2 trem2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TREM-2 trem2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #440918700) (NCBI Accession #NP_001259007.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q99NH8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RAT ANTI MOUSE TREM-2 with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (J774 cells stained with Rat anti Mouse TREM2:FITC (MBS224449))
Testing Data #2 (Mouse TREM2 transfected cells stained with Rat anti Mouse TREM2 (MBS224763) followed by Goat F(ab\')2 anti Rat IgG:RPE (Mouse Adsorbed, MBS235284))
Rat anti Mouse Trem-2 antibody, clone 78.18 recognizes Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM-2), an activating receptor of the Ig superfamily. TREM-2 forms a receptor signalling complex with DAP12 to trigger the activation of the immune response in macrophages and dendritic cells. It may be involved in chronic inflammation and may promote the production of constitutive rather than inflammatory chemokines and cytokines. TREM-2 may also have a functional role in osteoclast formation. Stimulation of TREM-2 with Rat anti Mouse Trem-2 antibody, clone 78.18 enhances multinucleated osteoclast formation in vitro. Clone 78.18 may also be used to block TREM-2 on pre-osteoclasts to inhibit the formation of multinuclear osteoclasts and to inhibit bone resorption by mature osteoclasts.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Mouse TREM-2 Fc fusion protein
Fusion Partners: Lymph node cells from immunised Fisher rats were fused with cells of the rat YB-2/0 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TREM-2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TREM-2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
