The TXNDC5 txndc5 (Catalog #MBS802758) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EndoPDI Antibody: ATTO 594 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EndoPDI can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).1:200 (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TXNDC5 txndc5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TXNDC5 txndc5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #224493972) (NCBI Accession #NP_001139021) (Uniprot Accession #Q8NBS9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Background Info: Detects a protein with a mass of ~48kDa corresponding to EndoPDI
Scientific Background: Endothelial protein disulfide isomerase (EndoPDI) is a thioredoxin member of the protein disulfide isomerase family of chaperones. This enzyme has been localized to the endoplasmic reticulum in primary endothelial cells, but colocalizes with nucleoli in the nuclei of breast, colon, and renal cancer cells. EndoPDI mRNA and protein expression is induced by hypoxia and exhibits a protective effect on endothelial cells during hypoxia (1).
Conjugate: ATTO 594. Storage Buffer: PBS pH7.4, 50% glyercol, 0.09% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TXNDC5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TXNDC5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Arthritis, Rheumatoid, Atherosclerosis, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Fatty Liver, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to EndoPDI Antibody: ATTO 594.
