The WTAP mapkapk5 (Catalog #MBS476850) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-WTAP Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s WTAP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WTAP mapkapk5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The WTAP mapkapk5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #649105467) (NCBI Accession #AIC50396.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: The Wilms tumor suppressor gene WT1 appears to play a role in both transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation of certain cellular genes. This gene encodes a WT1-associating protein, which is an ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein. Like WT1 protein, this protein is localized throughout the nucleoplasm as well as in speckles and partially colocalizes with splicing factors. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding three different isoforms.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of PRAK expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing WTAP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as WTAP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Liver, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. WTAP also interacts with the following gene(s): HSPB1, MAP2K3, MAPK14, MAPK6. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Fever, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Skin Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-WTAP Mouse mAb.
