The CD9 cd9 (Catalog #MBS213834) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or 100ul whole blood.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/2. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD9 cd9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CD9 cd9 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502693) (NCBI Accession #NP_001760.1) (Uniprot Accession #P21926). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD9 antibody, clone MM2/57 recognizes human Leukocyte antigen MIC3 also known as MRP-1 or CD9. CD9 is a 228 amino acid multi pass membrane glycoprotein belonging to the tetraspanin family with a molecular weight of ~24kDa expressed by platelets, monocytes, some lymphocytes and endothelial cells. Mouse anti Human CD9 antibody, clone MM2/57 recognizes a conserved epitope on CD9 present on a wide range of mammalian species.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 1ml distilled water.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
5% Sucrose
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Human platelet membrane
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the SP2/0 mouse myeloma line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD9 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD9 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
