anti-CD90 antibody product blogThe CD90 thy1 (Catalog #MBS213838) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD90 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD90 thy1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD90 thy1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6981654) (NCBI Accession #NP_036805.1) (Uniprot Accession #P01830). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Rat CD90 antibody, clone OX-7 recognizes rat and CD90, also known as Thy1.1, a GPI-anchored membrane protein containing a single V type Ig-like domain CD90 is expressed on a variety of cell types including thymocytes, neuronal cells, stem cells, immature B cells and connective tissues, CD90 is also expressed in T cells in mice.Since Thy1.1 is a monomorphic determinant in rat but polymorphic in mice, clone MRC OX-7 reacts with Thy1.1 mice e.g. AKR and FVB mice, but not Thy1.2 mice such as CBA and BALB/c. The affinity of the Fab\' of MRC OX-7 for rat Thy1 is 3 x 109m1 and for mouse Thy1.1 is 3 x 108m-1(1). Mouse anti rat CD90, clone MRC OX-7 has been demonstrated to promote neurite outgrowths on peripherin-stained sympathetic rat neurons, using fluorescence microscopy (Jeng et al. 1998). Clone OX-7 has also been reported to induce glomerular nephritis in Wistar rats (Tamura et al. 1996). This product is routinely tested in flow cytometry on rat thymocytes.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 1.0 ml distilled water
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Rat. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD90 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD90 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
