anti-FRK antibody product blogThe FRK frk (Catalog #MBS532878) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FRK antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FRK can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).
WB: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FRK frk for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The FRK frk product has the following accession number(s) (GI #129760771) (NCBI Accession #ABO31343.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the FRK antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant FRK protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with FRK antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of FRK protein in paraffin embedded Human endometrium tissue using FRK antibody)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected with recombinant FRK protein using FRK antibody)
Mouse monoclonal FRK antibody.
Biological Significance: FRK is an epithelial tissue-specific kinase. The human FRK gene maps to chromosome 6q21-q22. 3 and encodes a 505 amino acid protein. The protein belongs to the TYR family of protein kinases. This tyrosine kinase is a nuclear protein and may function during G1 and S phase of the cell cycle and suppress growth. Immunogen: FRK antibody was raised in mouse using a protein expressed in 293T cell transfected with human FRK expression vector as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FRK are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FRK may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
